Bill Pertwee RIP

Saw him the previous weekend at the Bressingham Norfolk annual Dads Army day - he certainly looked very frail and was in a wheel chair. Top man for making it.

Apart from Jimmy Perry (co-writer) and Frank Williams (vicar) (both of whom were also there last week) I think that's it bar Ian Lavendar and Mrs Fox (neither there last week)

Glad to see there's a couple more. I get Dad's Army reruns on a classic comedy channel I listen to out here. They're just as good on the radio. I've not researched it but I think they're re-ecorded and adapted for non visuals. Still makes me laugh no matter how many times I've heard them.

You ruddy 'ooligans!

Always loved how Sgt Wilson would get the better of him and also his insistence on calling Cpt Mainwaring 'Napoleon'

RIP.

No-one used "ruddy" better in my opinion....."turn that ruddy light out!"

RIP, but Dads Army was something my dad watched, hence terminally uncool.

Dads' Army was brilliant, coolness didn't come into it :raspberry:
