Blackpool before and after ??

Myself and 3 other shrimpers are going up friday pm on the train, staying in a Blackpool hotel friday night and getting a train upto M'cambe after a hearty fry up on saturday.

A couple of questions therefore ?

* anyone else doing Blackpool stopover ?
* any recommendations for a blackpool boozer ?

And for a lunchtime meet in Morecambe is anyone heading to one particular pub ??

There is a harvester style restaurant and bar outside the ground but it doesn't open until 12, so I think I'll be in the spoons until then (by around 10:30)! Theres a supporters bar on the side of the main stand but not sure when it opens!

Better off going to the plentiful side street pubs.The ones on the seafront are very expensive.
