Heavy rain forecast from 9am to 3pm and windy. Not sure about postponement, being Blackpool and all that sand, any water should disappear rapidly.
The Boxing Day match was postponed after heavy rain though, see below!

thanks. Not sounding great. You'd think as an ex Prem team their ground would be set up to deal with rain better than most. Maybe not though...

I think you'll find the sand is on the beach ...............

And I'm wearing two jumpers so that's a set of goal posts sorted

Perhaps you can lend them to the groundsman to soak up any surface water ................

Anybody have any information on the pitch?

I am part way there (to Blackpool) and I am presuming that as there has not even been talk of a pitch inspection that all is well in sunny (errhhhh rainy) Blackpool.

So far there is nothing on the official Blackpool site Rattus, and the fans message boards are too busy slagging off Oyston to worry about the weather. There was one thread which was entitled the state of the pitch, but that just had posts about why it's rubbish........Oyston again. They really love the guy don't they?

If something worthwhile gets posted I'll let you know, but chances are there will be nothing till you get there.
