I feel like we don't need him purely from a depth point or view. Fully fit we have Demi, Elvis, Coker, White and Kpyrianou that can play in that position. I'd do it later in the month and get someone in on loan. Can then use his wages elsewhere.

You're assuming someone's willing to take him? Plus we'd have to pay (at least part of) the wages of a loanee presumably. You make it sound simple but you can't just dump a player who's under contract.

I actually think Hendrie's been okay over the last few games. I'm still a little bemused that he was dropped in favour of Elvis at LB today.

Coker won't play for us again, Kpyrianou is a centre back now and there is no way in a million years that White is a better left back than Hendrie!!

Therefore if we ditch Hendrie, as you suggest, then we'll need a new left back anyway, so what would be the point

If you remember, Hendrie came back while Coker was out with his broken leg, initially to much excitement. His confidence was destroyed under PB, which is why he went out on loan. I think he was always considered the replacement for Coker, and I think he is a decent player, still lacking on confidence but far better than he was last year. This is the same young lad that we had here a few years ago - and he is still young, so plenty of time for him. I like what he can do, and he needs support not scapegoating! Pointless letting Hendrix go, he has a lot to offer!
