The Times produced a League table yesterday, based on crowd attendances and the number of changes made to the starting XI, re FA Cup games played over the last 10 years. Out of the 106 clubs featured, we were ranked 43th overall. We were 63rd when it came to attendances - our average FA Cup crowd being 22.7% lower than our average league home attendance, but 38th in the other section as we averaged 2.25 changes from our previous league game. Brizzle Rovers fans seemed to be up for the cup the most, with a increase of 12% for cup games, while making only 1.75 changes.....

Bit quite on the cab fares front today then?

Think the figures highlight the absence of a decent Cup Run and unattractive early round opponents. The F.A. could also reverting to a Regional Draw for at least the 1st Round. Obviously doesn't guarantee a local game but does the increase the chances of one.

Exactly this. Look at who we've played at home in the last 10 years:
2015/16 - None
2014/15 - Chester
2013/14 - Millwall, Hull
2012/13 - Stockport, Bury (replay), Brentford
2011/12 - Preston (replay), Oldham
2010/11 - Macclesfield (replay)
2009/10 - None
2008/09 - Telford (replay), Luton, Chelsea (replay)
2007/08 - Rochdale, Oxford (replay), Dagenham & Redbridge, Barnsley
2006/07 - Barnsley
2005/06 - MK Dons

Only 2 ties against top flight sides at the time, Chelsea and Hull, and only 2 local games against Millwall and D&R. Worth noting that most are also against sides in the same division as us at the time or lower.
