From the club website: -

"Southend United's reserve team fixture against Luton Town scheduled for next month will now not take place. Blues were set to face the Hatters on Tuesday, April 21 at Roots Hall in the Totesport.com Combination League.
However, the Hatters are unable to fulfil the fixture and instead last Saturday's under 18 result against Luton will also count for the reserve league.
That means that Luton will be credited with a 2-0 victory and three points for both the Youth Alliance league and Combination League."


Shouldn't we get the 3 points as they are unable to fulfill the fixture?

Hang on, let me get it right:
Luton don't send a team
Lutons youth beat Southend youth
The score from the youth game counts for the reserve game
Surely Luton forefeitted! So if our under 11s beat Leceister under 11s can we not turn up for the game and get the three points?
