Been chatting with the daughter on the merits of bands who replace the original lead singer and we agree that it rarely works. AC/DC being one of the few exceptions to the rule.

So for those of you who like AC/DC, whos best, Bon or Brian?

Said daughter went for Bon and I agree. You lot?

Brian, loved his voice when in Geordie .

Bon Scott spend a bit of time in young offenders centre back in the 60's. One of the offences was listed as unlawful carnal knowledge.

Bon Scott by a country mile. I was fortunate enough to see AC/DC fronted by Bon twice in the 'seventies at the Kursaal (and also later in London I think but time dulls the memory). The 'Let There Be Rock' album cover photo was reputedly taken in Southend. Their sound predates heavy metal as we know it today (Maiden, Priest et al) and punk - it goes without saying that they were an amazing live act. AC/DC practically died for me the day Bon died. I did see BJ fronting the band in 2009 (Black Icetour) and he did a great job but there is really no comparison in my eyes.
