Disappointing that this is with an eye to a loan rather than a permanent move.
His lack of first team experience alone is likely to make him a significant downgrade on Taylor Moore who'd had a season in L2 and half a season in L1 prior to joining us last year. As a loan we endure the growing pains without benefiting from the eventual upside and the learning curve is at its steepest when they step into first team football for the first time.
But didn't he only just sign a contract extension at the start of summer with B'mouth? I guess this is one reason why it isn't a permanent transfer option at this stage.Disappointing that this is with an eye to a loan rather than a permanent move.

Or he is that promising so Bournemouth do not want to lose him. In that case he could well be a good acquisition.True. Unless it's a loan with a view to a perm deal...
Looks a bit on the skinny side. Is he gonna outmuscle some of the bigger centre halves, win the ball at corners? Need a big lump who can read the game and get to the ball first. Don't care if they hit it into row Z, just keep it away from our goal. You don't need ball-playing centre halves at this level.

Bolger - esk type.....complimented with Dervite...…………….that's me in dream land...
Or maybe both of them? Taylor Moore has some experience under his belt now, so he would be a good prospect next season if we could get him back, and Corey would also be a good addition, but maybe not a first choice?
I hope that we keep Kiernan in that midfield holding role, as he looked good there last season, and with the departure of Kightly we could now have a bit more flexibility.
