Breaking News BOND RESIGNS!

Fair play to him. It’s nothing personal.

Shame it didn’t work out, but it’s the right thing to do.

Now, it’s upto the players to prove a point & finally paint themselves in a good light.

The search for a new manager commences today.

thats a very gentlemanly thing to do ... honourable behaviour in an impossible situation .

Good luck Kevin and all the best -

Fair play to him.

Despite how personal most fans get, he didn’t mean to do a **** job and now his done the right thing and resigned. Respect.

Players need to take a long hard look at themselves...

Fair play to the man. Will always be grateful for him keeping us up last season but it wasn’t working.

All the best wherever he ends up next.

Fair play to him he kept us up last season now time to get this season moving let’s hope we can get a good reaction from the players one team in Essex

Done the right thing gotta give him credit for that and he kept us up last season but clearly wasnt working this season. In my opinion we have a squad that should be lower mid table or a little above

Fair play to him for doing the honourable thing. But I cannot explain the relief and release of tension I’m feeling right now.

Congrats to @Ricey as there's been a lot of people waiting for that piece of news. Bit of a surprise I guess as surely ALL of us were expecting it to be a sacking rather than a resignation. Either way, I'm sure it was a negotiated exit so ultimately it doesn't matter.

As others said, Kevin, with the exception of some fans (and probably some players it's a shame to concede), it wasn't personal. If you're suited better to a number 2 position, all the best in finding the right next move.

I wonder if it will be Bond's version of events that he resigned?

Anyway, we can now move on. This club's been rudderless in recent weeks with the manager a dead man walking.

Moving backwards with the four you named, get over the past and get into the real world.

No crocodile tears please. He was a disaster and if any credit is due, it is to Ron Martin for giving him the chance to resign rather than sacking him, as many chairmen would have done.
