Funny, couple of weeks ago you couldn't move on here for Borient fans and now you can't find one anywhere!

Great going past Stratford on the train last night and wishing them "goodbye"

probably still trying to find Carlisle on the road atlas

TIP for them: Find Notts Forest then drive a further 186 miles north

From an amazingly jealous O's fan, I have to say well done.

A thoroughly deserved win yesterday ensured a thoroughly deserved promotion - anyone who goes 17 games unbeaten or whatever it was deserves to go up.

It will be interesting to see how you do next season - clearly you need to bring in a few new players and keep hold of the better ones, although I believe most are under contract anyway.

I suspect you will stay up but you definately need to stay injury free - something you were very fortunate with this season ( unlike us ).

Anyway, enjoy the moment - it aint like it happens very often!

Interesting point that. I'm not sure the likes of Jay Smith (who missed the entire season), Jim Corbett, Bart Griemink, Tes Bramble and Lewis Hunt would necessarily agree.

I'd however give a lot of credit to the manager. When we signed Andy Edwards, I recall him saying with a small squad its important to sign players like Eagle who consistently play 40+ games a season. As it turns out, Eagle wasn't a first choice, but it showed that it was a factor in his thoughts.

It was also noticable that during the busy Christmas period, he rotated certain players.

As for next season, Corbett's release has everything to do with him being a sicknote as we all know he has the talent, Bramble will probably follow likewise. Smith is a gamble, but we'll sign him up for another year with open eyes knowing there are big questions over his fitness. Apart from maybe Gower, Prior and Dudfield, based on their injury records throughout their career I'd fully expect to get 40+ games from the rest.
