Oxley already a candidate for player of the year

I spoke with a friend today who played for Port Vale yesterday and he said Oxley was our best player by a mile and kept us in the game....

This seems to happen more often when the individual has given away unnecessary goal(s) thus causing an adverse result.

Maybe yeah, fair enough I get that. But as a GK that’s just the nature of the job, it shouldn’t always detract from a performance.
