C2C and Greater Anglia have announced that there will be no trains on Boxing Day. So the trip to AFC Wimbledon will have to be made without the aid of the train. Should be fun on the roads.

To be fair, c2c rarely run trains on a Boxing Day, looks like the best options are TZ or ST coaches or driving.

Absolutely stupid. Would've expected a reduced service at least.

Frustrating that we get local games for those days, yet you still have to drive there. Still better driving there than t'up north.

Its simple, just drive to Upminster and jump on the tube

Probably engineering works on. Besides aren't C2C staff allowed to enjoy their Christmas break?

Oh, they're more than entitled to have a Christmas break. But at least put a reduced service on or see if anyone is willing to work on that day and let them.

Network Rail normally undertake some major engineering projects between late Christmas Eve and the 27th December - that way minimalising the impact on those who use the service the most. Seems pretty sensible to me.
