That could be our strongest 11 IMO, with the only close call between Sturrock and Paterson

Ta! Still think he'll be in and around the first team when fit, but worrying the amount of injuries he's collecting.

It's a concern, but hardly comes as a real surprise. So little football over the last year or so, it's always gonna take his body a while to get back up to speed.

About time...not impressed at all with him

Not set the world alight for sure, but I think he may get better once he is fully fit. At least he keeps wide and looks for the ball in that position, unlike Soares who drifts all over the place.

Fair comment, maybe once fully fit we will see more from him

Agreed, at one stage at the Vale game, Zaboub received the ball on the touchline, and Soares was literally two yards from him expecting the pass, no wonder we get caned down the wings when he is so cavalier with his positioning.

Be interesting if we take the lead tonight. We haven't scored first in any of our competitive matches so far. Be good to see how we react if we do go in front.

Glad to see soares not in the starting 11, it was his fault that wolves got the winner tuesday for not tracking back with the wolves player that crossed the ball and he knew that it was his fault.

Happy with the line up apart from a slight concern about Sturrock and Corr up front again. Pleased that Bilel gets a start and that , at least, Paterson is on the bench.
My predictions are so awful but I must get, by the law of averages, something right soon....................1-2 for Southend!
