Bradley Photo Pillock Sentenced

CanveyCastle

Convicted Hitman
Sheffield Wednesday "fan" who held up a photo of Bradley Lowery at match with Sunderland, Dale Houghton was given a 12-week jail sentence suspended for 18 months.

Lost both his jobs and isn't living in his family home as he fears reprisals. Good.

Indeed. Deserves it all.

That said, I thought Bradley Photo Pillock was his name!

It was a dreadful, stupid, idiotic thing to do. But if he’s lost his home and his income (and possibly strained family ties too if that’s the home he’s out of) then IMO that’s a heck of a big price to pay.

Sticking the boot in further is totally wrong now IMO. People whose lives have completely imploded like this guy all too often end up among the (far too high, male dominated - 75%) suicide statistics.

I’m sure we don’t want that so now he’s been severely punished, and hopefully learned a big lesson, it’s time to cut some slack and allow him to begin to rebuild his life IMO. It seems that forgiveness and mercy are alien ancient concepts these days.

I would imagine he just pleaded guilty to make this all go away as soon as possible. Find it hard to see what he actually got prosecuted for. Bad taste?

It was offensive but to get actually prosecuted for it? That's crazy. Frankie Boyle used to make jokes about a disabled kid but that was deemed funny.
The difference is people pay money to see Frankie Boyle and know his humour, so cannot complain.
I do not expect to go to football and see a moron do this, hope his fall from grace is a lesson learnt and may he never have a child and go through this
