And it's 74 years since Brentford were last in the then top flight.

I heard 76 on C4 news yesterday but I'm quite willing to take your word for it.

"They last sealed promotion to the top flight in 1935 and stayed there for 12 years before dropping out for good in 1947."

yes I know he is gone and was only there a few years, But its the little things in football
