Brian Meyers (Aged 71) past away on the 3rd November after a long battle with the big "C".

Brian was a dedicated Southend United fan and a member on ShrimperZone, in fact he was last logged in the day before he died.

Southend United will hold a minutes silence before the game on the 23rd. November

MEYERS Brian Douglas Passed away peacefully on 3rd November 2019, aged 71 years. Much loved Husband, Dad & Grandad. He will be greatly missed by all family & friends. Funeral Service to take place at St Peters Catholic Church, Eastwood on Wednesday 20th November 2019 at 10.00am followed by cremation at Southend Crematorium. All who knew Brian are welcome to attend. Family flowers only and donations if desired to Haven Hospice and can be placed in the donation box after the service.

RIP Brian - thanks for being a valued member of our community, and a respected voice on the Zone. Huge condolences to Brian’s family and a sad loss.
 
RIP Brian, I didn’t know you personally but we shared the same love of the club and I always enjoyed reading your posts and views.

My thoughts and condolences to those who knew him personally and especially his family.
 
Yet another Blues stalwart gone, that big East stand in the Sky is starting to fill up. RIP Brian and condolences to your family.
