I'm sorry but I think this is missing the real issue. You're talking about people who would rather sit in the North stand to the extent that they'd happily leave their seats and relocate to another stand. I was at the testimonial and wasn't even sure about what was going on with the North stand

It seems the issue here is why we can't accomodate more than 9000 odd fans in our supposed 12000 all-seater stadium.

Now, I'm happy enough sitting in my West Stand seat (or even in my East Stand seat) but I will not be impressed if the day ever comes that I arrive at the ground at ten to three and can't get in to see my team when there are so many seats unused.

I'm sure that, assuming a ten pound charge per head, 1700 extra bums would be put on seats in less than a year.
