Bristol Rovers new stadium plans approved

It seems Sainsburys are playing a clever game - they know lots of clubs with older grounds need new ones and they are normally located in or around town centers - help them get new grounds with funding and they get a prime store location with heavy footfall with decent land size

it doesn't say that they are funding the new ground just that they have applied to develop the current one, unless you know something we don't? I'm sure our situation is unique and Sainsburys aren't just going around paying for new football grounds.

True however its a good idea though if that was their strategy.
