Stadium size is no guarantee, but Bournemouth may be flying high, but will they sustain it (and they have financial backing so arent relying on their stadium).

Having the bigger stadium and fanbase helps maintain that over a period of time, not just one or two good seasons, but it doesnt guarantee anything, which is why Portsmouth are in the same league we are.

Agreed,

MK Dons have the stadium and decent following but they seem stuck in league 1 for eternity.

If FF gets built there are no guarantee we will flourish in higher leagues.
 
a new and bigger stadium and bigger fanbase are no guarantee of a sustainable brighter future but without them I cannot see how any success can be sustained. as someone else has said bournemouth are doing well now - as we were in early 90s - but if they stick with a 12k stadium where will they be in 10 years time - back in L1 or L2 I would guess.
