After having 8 meg broadband with BT for some time now with my own wireless router I decided to have a go at the BT Home hub package....seeing as it was free n all. Anyway, the router will be here in days but I was informed that there is a delay with the phone that goes with the hub as it has a manufacturing fault!

Apparently they are recalling some of the phones already distributed (but not the hub routers) and those ordered are not likely to be shipped for at least 8 to 10 weeks

Doesn't fill me with confidence I must say.

I would like to point out that this is the first ever problem I have had with BT in over 5 years of broadband with them.

Anyone got the Home hub and had problems with either the set up or mechanics?
