Nowt here. 4 nets now on Plummer going for about 6 weeks of WK training to get those secondaries up a couple of levels and then he will be 2 bowl, 1 bat, 1 field. Means I've had to trim Lamey and Sandile back to single batting nets but I can live with that.

In other news, I believe Nick has officially given up. I logged in earlier to check his training for him and then told him I was no longer going to help him out to try to get him to run it properly himself but i very much doubt he will. Shame as he has a great team.

20. Dave Granville - 21 yo, BT Rating=96,536
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, strong batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with woeful leadership skills and mediocre experience.
Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: wonderful Concentration: wonderful

One more season's bowling net for him and he'll finally be finished. I kept his batting at wonderful to keep his wages down, as I'd rather have specialist batsmen as my best rather than an all-rounder.

No wonder he had such a rubbish game today against my motley crew.:p

Haha, 5 wickets and 99 not out isn't bad at all :fart:

By the way, I could've sworn I accepted Mrs BB's challenge yet no friendly has come up on my fixture screen. Did I press reject by mistake? Would like to play it.

Looks like she has a game against loz tomorrow, and I know she's pencilled in to play YB on Wednesday, so Thursday ?? :) or was it a Sunday friendly ?

Not a clue, but it looks like something went wrong with it. It's ok though got another game now :)

the whole thing seemed quite odd today actually. i originally accepted BB's challenge when i logged-on earlier, but nothing appeared on the fixture screen so i took up Mrs BB's offer instead.

It also seems some players have had two 20/20 games running concurrently - I'm just trying out the theory now - nope doesn't work for me !

Only pop for me was

Struggled in the OD this year for some reason but a nice economical FC seamer.

Also my star player is currently on 1xFitness, 1xBat and 1xBowl

Bernard Hastings - 18 yo, BT Rating=26,305
LH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, respectable bowling form, drained
A defensive player with woeful leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: proficient Concentration: feeble
Bowling: superb Consistency: proficient
Fielding: proficient

Due a batting pop soon followed by a bowling pop - I will have 1 net to spare - so of the 3 existing +1 how would you continue to train him?

As you are plus fielding. Fielding is great for all rounders as one net improves three skills.

Shame for Mrs BB that he didn't give up a couple of weeks ago :D

As you say though, bit of a waste of a good team:fart:
