fan****ingtastic - why not delay the closure to 10.30, everyones happy!

I got hacked off when they were cleaning the lights on the 127 last season and closed off one lane, that was bad enough!!!!!

rom 8pm on Thursday night to 5am on Friday, the A127 will be closed eastbound from Rayleigh Weir to Progress Road, with a diversion in place along Eastwood and Rayleigh Road.

On Friday night, the A127 will be closed between 8pm and 5am Saturday for works between Progress Road and Bellhouse Lane, with a diversion via Rayleigh Road to Kent Elms corner.

Looks like it's eastbound only though, so shouldn't be too much of a problem!

It says Eastbound on Thursday night, but isn't explicit on Friday night.

Fairly local resident here..........Friday night closure between Progress Road & Bellhouse Lane suggests this is also Eastbound.

Thanks for the info shrimpergary but it does look like its eastbound only, mind you think I might take another route home just in case
