INCIDENT AT BASILDON
Due to a person being hit by a train at Basildon, services via Basildon will be diverted to run via Tilbury running non stop between Pitsea and Barking. A Shuttle Train service will operate between Laindon and Barking with Buses replacing trains between Pitsea and Laindon via Basildon.
Short notice alterations and cancellelations will occur.

You can walk from platform 1 to 2 via the rails, but I wouldnt advise it.
