Well Chesterfield away makes it all worthwhile doesnt it.

Personally just glad to have got another win and against a team we have never beaten, Id swap it for a win in the league at the drop of a hat though...

We will turn Chesterfield over and at least get to the 4th round, along with a terrific unbeaten run in the league. Its all good!

Not really, only about 2 posters were not negative about the draw, now the 2nd round draw has been done and we get the same again! We have shown we can beat and lose to anyone in our league, we need to be more positive!

I'm more positive about Chesterfield as we were unlucky to lose there last time and they were on a good run then. Morecambe are our bogey team and we had never beaten them in several attempts, wasn't much to get excited about but glad we won.

It's more about the "magic" of the FA Cup - we play Morecombe at least twice every season - a non league team like Dover or Shortlands away would be a tad more exciting as for once (for awhile), we'd be the giants.

So was your issue the fact that people slagged off the cup draw or the fact that SOME felt we were going to lose.

To say that we all slagged something off is a very false statement, based on the number of people who post on here.

Fact is that it was a crap draw, so yes many did say that, any draw at home or to a non league side or Essex derby would have been so much better.

As for SOME people saying we were going to lose then that was a fair comment based on statistics. We haven't beaten them in all previous meetings so SOME people will automatically fear the worse. On paper Chesterfield away is also a crap draw and despite their current form will be a difficult game. Really depends which team turns up on the day, our good one or the inconsistent one.

But please dont tar everyone with the same brush.
