You only need to look around the NL and in a number of cases it tends to be the striker that has the best strike rate from the spot, if you think about it that should be the logical person to take them.

It was Dennis yesterday but Powell cant complain because he wanted Cardwell's one at Barnet. Started with Nile Ranger, then we had a good record with Demi until ANG snatched that one at Scunny.

Since then we have had 5 or 6 different players missing and some of the school boy squabbles are embarrassing.....Even by SUFC standards.

We really don't need to buy a player to take our penalties. Practice makes perfect so do that in training and the most consistent scorer gets the job. If he's out then the 2nd best taker gets it. As has been said earlier, Cardwell was pretty adapt at putting his boot through it at Barnet so stay with him.
