John Sands is very highly rated in the non league. I know he has attracted interest from league clubs before. Here's our new report on Conference national side Forest Green showing an interest. I wouldn't have thought we need another untested striker now, especially aged 27.

I can understand that. I don't think 27 is a bad age for a League Two striker, though. It'll just be interesting if he does carve out a reasonable pro career after playing on Blues' doorstep.

It’s not a bad age but you don’t often get players of that age picked up unless they are really pulling up trees, after all they should be in their prime. Might have been worth a look if we hadn’t made the signings we already have. Wish the guy good luck, very hard to get a break if you haven’t made it pro by 25.
