Morning guys,

Mods please don't delete this... its all for a good cause!

So a little while ago now your votes helped my football team win 'The Great Football Experiment', and as part of the programme we are now playing a team of celebs this weekend to raise money for Charity:

Basildon Sporting Village, Gloucester Park North, Crane Park Road, Bas Vegas, SS14 3GR

The match pits a team of stars with Will Mellor, Ralph Little, Jeff Brazier, Chris Fountain, footballer Rob Lee and a whole host of celebrities like Gilly and Warren from Hollyoaks, Chesney and Jason from Coronation St, and Adam from Emerdale against local Sunday League Team Ivory FC. Ray Wilkins is playing for Ivory FC!!!

IVORY FC are a Sunday League team run by Southend United fans that represent the Ivory Rooms in Billericay, The winners of Nivea For Mens: Great Football Experiment. The competition that gives a pub football team professional preparation fit for the England team!!! With coaching from Terry Venables, Ray Wilkins and Ray Clemence, the boys aim to prove that preparation really is everything…

All the proceeds will be going to Always A Chance, a new charity set up by one of the players in memory of his friends that were sadly gunned down and killed just 6 weeks ago. The charity is looking to provide support for families and victims affected by violent crime with advice and financial support.

For all your spontaneous Shrimpers out there board waiting for our first friendly bring the family along... football the Mrs might actually want to watch, and all for a good cause!!! Please come on down.......

:)
