Walked out of Chelmsford Museum the other day next to Sohpie Ellis Bexter and the bloke from the antiques show - you know, the one with the jumper round his neck. They drove off in a 2CV. I miss them.

Passed Phil Jupitus walking his dog - also went through a phase of bumping into him doing his shopping on a Friday. Walked past Trevor Brooking on his way home. Saw that bald bloke who fights consumer battles having his lunch in Leigh.

Got stopped by Carlton Cole to ask for directions to a hotel a while back.

Accidentally stalked Steve Davis in Lakeside a while ago - thought he was going to **** a brick.

France 98 Argies vs England. Special Charter to St Etienne. I think the only other UK flight out was the England footie team. Everyone else was Lyon. Mick Jagger at the restaurant beforehand. You can imagine his surprise as this place was in the middle of nowhere. Remember bouncers throwing a couple of our party out of his private room. Fair play though he came out later and said the last thing he expected was to see a table full of semi-****ed England fans. Just wanted to eat in peace. Hung around for a good 15 mins chatting to a few before going. I believe I'm currently holding top trump.

I know Pixie Lott and a couple of former East-Enders.

I was at school with Jonjo Shelvey.

And through what I do (does that count?) I know a number of reasonably high profile politicians.

Are you a high class escort, ala Christine Keeler?

In 1978 I was in the Army Air Corps, serving with UN Flight Cyprus at Nicosia airport. My CO was a Major Blount, and as I had no money and there wasn't a lot to do on camp at night, I used to supplement my meagre pay by baby sitting his son, James - now apparently a singer under the name of James Blunt.

From Chatteris IIRC
Wasn't he known as the Fen Tiger or similar?
He was one of my favourites (along with Charlie Magri) when I used to follow boxing a bit

Charlie Magri's pulled me a pint before.

Probably the second most famous person to have served me after Declan Perkins.

Saw Paul Clark in Benfleet this morning teaching a young lady how to drive!
Guess his media work doesn't cover close season!

Roger Taylor and Brian May have been in my office today. Just wish my Dad was alive so I could tell him as the indie landfill that usually visit did not impress him at all.

I would have to be locked in a toilet so I couldn't tell them how ****ing hugely overrated their band was.

I’m getting worried about you mate.

Queen were, are and forever shall be one of the greatest bands of all time. And that’s just in the studio.

As for a live performance, nobody came close.

I realise that I'm in a minority here, but I can't stand them. Pompous overblown toss.
