Can anyone out there recommend a decent local heating engineer? Got a constant drip from my boiler overflow and it's winding me up. Heating and hot water all fine. If you can pass on the name of anyone local (ss9) I would appreciate it. Cheers

Give this chap a bell...Dave 07791 105284 he is based in Rochford, it sounds like the pressure relief valve.

Will do, cheers. Does that sound like an expensive job? I'm hopeless with this sort of thing.

Not necessarily, but he is good value and has done a bit for a few Zoners before.I guess a lot will depend on how old the boiler is.

Your pressure relief valve is fugged most probably. Had the same problem with mine.

As an alternative I've used RCH in Pall Mall a number of times. Not necessarily cheap, but always had decent service, including 2 new boiler installations (at different houses!)

I think I'm still paying for the last visit by RCH! I've got Cricko's guy coming round a bit later today, so hopefully I can get it sorted out.

Thanks all!

Thanks for this. He came round today and fixed the valve, £20 and it took about 10 minutes. Will def get him back for a few other jobs I need doing later in the year. Cheers.
