The final Premiership table shows Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs occupying the top four spots and thus qualifying for the Champions League. If Tottenham lose in this year's final and Arsenal win the Europa Cup, do they qualify for the Champions League in Tottenham's place or do we have five clubs taking part in the next competition?

Didn’t something similar happen the season Chelsea won?

I've done what I should have done earlier and googled it. This is an extract from the Daily Express pages:

Will Arsenal take Tottenham Champions League spot?

The simple answer is no, Arsenal will not nab Tottenham’s place in the Champions League if they beat Chelsea in the Europa League final.

Tottenham currently occupy fourth in the Premier League and will remain in the top four barring a highly unlikely set of final day results. That will be enough to secure them Champions League qualification - something fifth-place Arsenal winning the Europa League would not take away from them.

That’s because England can have up to five representatives in the Champions League, so Arsenal would qualify by winning the Europa League and play in the competition alongside Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.

if its four or five teams, good luck to them all.
Hope we rule Europe again, like we have done this year.
