Interesting article on the bbc football website on the above headline . Sorry don’t now how to copy and paste? Worth reading it’s about the losses many championship clubs are suffering to try and reach the promised land sic. Good contribution from Dave Whelans successer at Wigan his grandson. The Whelan family have now sold Wigan after putting in nearly £1m a month to keep the club going and with the 4th lowest wage bill !

Sadly most fans will totally ignore it because if you offer a them a sweet they will always jump straight into the car without hesitation.

We nearly went bust by having just one season in Championship on the lowest budget that year. We are mounting up further debt as our wage bill is now more than double, in fact nearly treble what Tilly had to spend in that year.
