Yeap! Wino's at it again, in organising the Festival of Football at Basildon United's ground at Gardiners Close on SUNDAY 3rd August 2008.
10-00 kick off
The day starts off when TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS Pan disability team plays Basildon United's Pan Disability team.
25 mins each half and a demonstration game to show people that football is enjoyed at all levels.

11-00 a Min Soccer League gets into the swing of things, 4 local under 10's teams play 3 games of 10 mins a half to see who will win the coverted Onside Trophy.

12-30 Pitch presentations and entertainment followed at 1-00pm with the BASILDON ALLSTARS v BURMA ALLSORTS.

The Basildon team will consist of such players as Mervyn Cawston, Bill Garner,Danny O'Shea, David Cusack, Phil Dudly, Micky Stead . The rest of the team includes names like Peter Taylor, Justin Edinburgh and Basildon hero's Steve Tilson, Kerry Dixon!,Frankie Heritage and Dave Golding.

Other names from the past will be shouting from the side lines and mixing in with the crowd.
The Burma team consists of Burmese nationals and all in the name of the Burma Relief Fund via the Red Cross.
Burmese food, a BBQ are available as well as Refreshments from the WELL STOCKED BAR!

We also have a pair of Charity Shield tickets for the Man U v Pompey game the following week, signed football, Adam Barrett Home shirt from last season and much more.

Come along and chill out at the Hive, it should be a Great day.
