What's your starting 11 for Saturday?

Ta. I know ranting & raving a players gets you nowhere (like Martin Allen) but he's almost anonymous sometimes.

Being anonymous is one thing but its the clear change in his demeanour that bothers me most. He used to look 'jaunty' and had an air of confidence about him. His appearance suggested it is good to play with a smile on your face but all I see now is concern.

I don't want to see ranting and raving but I also have no desire to see a static advert like the crimplene manikin in John Colliers.

A blast from the past John Collier,Harry Fenton's Grandad.

I spoke to a highly rated coach once who said if he was having to rant and rave on the touchline on a Saturday he hadn’t done his job very well Monday to friday....
....

This is very true, however when Plan A fails there is a requirement for some subtle encouragement which does not need to be ranting and raving. Part of our problem I think is the lack of a captain who gees up his troops when the chips are down.

In the absence of one maybe the fans could/should step up?
