Well the good news is that we have been granted an SG1 referee for Saturday. One of the elite group of the country's very finest referees.

The bad news ? ...... it's Simon Hooper of Wembley play-off final fame.

How can that man be in the elite group? he was truly awful.

thanks Mick lets hope he has one of his better performances.Dont think i can handle a pp ref and a pp team all in one day

Football League Referee Website states 'TBC'. Has Hooper picked up an injury late on?

No, the SG1 appointments came out the day after the Football League ones and they haven't bothered to update the EFL site since Tuesday!
