There's all this talk about extra kids through the turnstiles because of the Cheeky Girls... but how many of these cheap tickets do you think the club needs to sell to cover the costs of engaging these fantastic artists (

) in the first place?

To be fair, if a few of those kids get hooked and support Southend for life, then the cost won't matter. Just think how much support and cash you've thrown at Southend in your lifetime

On the one hand, I agree... but I was hooked by a team playing dire football in the grim 80's... and with not so much as mascot to delight my tender eyes. That's what makes most die hard fans... so not sure if that many 'loyalists' will be won over by such cheap and tacky stunts. They'll probably change team allegiance as much as allegiance to their pop idols.

Oh, and yes, I meant bottom. My perky cheeks are quite the rage in the Med.

I can not stand them and alot of us we will entering the ground after they have done there thing however im sure it will bring in kids.

Whatever your opinion is they will do the job. Although the club could have tried to get something with a bit more of a football feel to it.
