Assuming Akinola isn’t fit enough to start, I’d go with:

Bass/Seaden
Elvis, White, Hobson, Clifford
Dieng, Ferguson
RHF, Taylor, ANG
Acquah​

Also not against seeing Holmes replace RHF or ANG for that bit of extra experience if he’s fit. Hopefully Bass is fit, but no concerns Seaden carrying on if not. I’ve seen Seaden play two league games now and was impressed both times.

EFL regulations say that an emergency loan keeper must start the match, so if we don't send Bass back to Portsmouth he has to start the match, he wouldn't be allowed to sit on the bench.

Can he not be picked for the squad at all - or has to be sent back? I appreciate for a 7 day loan it may not make sense to keep the keeper and not pick him

Recent form and results show we can be a match for anyone in this division. Scoring goals still a problem, but we don’t let many in nowadays and Cheltenham haven’t been scoring many lately so this should be tight, maybe one goal to win it, draw highly possible which I’d take personally as that would mean 9 points from the last 6 games which I could not realistically have seen us getting anywhere near before the Newport game.
