Saturday's interesting looking fixture at Chesterfield's very new stadium will be refereed by a very new referee. In his first year as a League referee, David Coote from Newark will be making the surprisingly short 45 minute journey.

This will be his fourth ever League match; the other three (all League 2) have produced a highish 14 yellow cards ..... but he has yet to send anyone off !!

He is 27 and works for the Nottinghamshire FA as their Referees' Development Officer.

Assisting will be Carl Dunn (who recently did a 1000 mile cycle ride for charity) from Newcastle-under-Lyme and Iain Siddall from Bolton. Fourth Official duties will be undertaken by Darren Bond, also of Lancashire.
