Came across this site and a video ( called a Masterclass) in which Chris describes plotting the defeat of Wigan in what was his third game. Interesting stuff and Chris talks with clarity about tactics both with and without the ball.

I'm lucky to have spoken to a few managers in the past and when they go into that kind of detail...you realise where your own level of understanding truly lies.

As you say, insightful and there are possibly some pointers there for what we may expect in terms of the type of players Chris may be thinking of signing in the close season in the hope of getting us into the Championship. And some of what he says is an echo of what he said on appointment with Blues.

I wonder if all managers are like this when asked decent questions? That was so much more informative than the usual press conferences.

Very interesting. Chris comes over as a very clear and considered communicator, which must help a lot when trying to convey his tactics to the players
