Boil for 12 minutes. Chillin cold water. Drain. Lightly fry in garlic butter.

Tastes nice and makes you fart like a wind tunnel. Fabulous!

buy cheapest possible, with yellow leaves.

boil for an hour.

cover with gravy made from bum juices of burnt dead turkey.

feed to someone else.

I just like them boiled for while and eaten with the main part of the dinner. None of this fancy puree or garlic butter.

Still, BC's suggestion sounds quite tasty!

Or as the old joke goes.

Q. What is the connection between Brussels sprouts and pubic hair.

A. Push them to one said and carry on eating.

Or what's the difference between brussel sprouts and bogies?

Children don't eat brussel sprouts.

Also par-boil, but then pan fry with butter, olive oil, a little fresh orange juice and orange segments.

Yum.

Put saucepan of lightly salted water on to boil in mid-August. Add brussel sprouts and return to boil. Simmer gently for 4 months. Splosh onto cold plate with various other boiled-to-buggery vegetables, and barely cooked turkey and serve with burnt Paxo stuffing.

Ah! The memories of childhood Xmas dinner.

Yuk.

Thankfully I was never subjected to such badly cooked Xmas dinners when I was a wee nipper....!

Some good suggestions for spicing up sprouts here, though, may have to suggest them to the head chef of Xmas dinner (that'll be the old dear, then)
