Chromebook with Windows Keyboard

Does anyone use a chromebook with a windows keyboard attached so that the windoes keyboard overrides the chromebook keyboard controls?

I need a basic laptop to use as a thin client to log into my work set up via the Web.

The chromebook seems the ideal device but I need a standard keyboard to carry out my role and the windows keyboard has some controls that the chromebook doesn't.
