Now Platini claims this is to honour the FA in their 150th year, fair enough at first glance, though in which case why award them 2011, as surely they knew about our 150th anniversary before the award for this years event

I'm maybe thinking that because they managed to flog 87,000 tickets at nigh on 200 sheets a piece they want some more of that, call me cynical if you like

Here's hoping for a JFK Olimps Rīga v Minyor Pernik or something akin :finger2:

(btw I'd been hoping to hear that Espanyol's new ground in Cornella would gets the UEFA Europa League Final.It's on the approved shortlist.But that went to the Amsterdam Arena.:thumbdown:Probably a better ground.Dunno.I did see Ajax play on a visit to the Damm a few years back but that was away at nearbye Vollendamm ).
