We have now not conceded a goal at home in the league since the Bury game. I make it that we've gone 559 minutes (not including injury time) or over 6 games without conceding. I'm wondering if this is a record? Thinking back over my time watching the Blues the only similar run I could remember was in the league 1 title winning season, but having checked back we only went 5 home games without conceding.
Credit where credits due, well done to Brown and the team, long may the run continue :Worthy:. Now we just need to score a few more at the other end!

any success has to be built on defensive stability unless you have the firepower to just outscore everyone, liverpool last season prime example of goals goals goals but defensively vulnerable....no title. We on the other hand lack the crazy firepower, but conceding so few will always give us a chance of winning games

985 minutes is the record which was in the 1980 season

I remember when Mervyn Cawston finally let in a goal, he took his gloves off, threw them to the ground, and then sat down with his back against one of the posts.

(He didn't stay there long, once we kicked off again!)

I blame Phil Browns negative tactics for our fantastic defensive record.....

Well done PB, DB & Defence

Hopefully another 90 to add to this tomorrow night.
