Having scoured the club's twitter account to find the twitter handle for a specific player I've come across a somewhat surprising list of accounts that the club currently follows - including:

- Mark Wright (Kevin Keegan's son-in-law)
- Adam Richman (Man v Food)
- Jamie Oliver (Pukka pies)
- Richard Keys (ex-Sky Sports feminist)
- Rachel Riley (failed Sky Sports football side-kick)
- Revolution Southend (team half-time vodka shot sponsor)
- Ginsters (Phil Brown's guilty pleasure)
- Theo Paphitis (Sells anything stationery - rumoured to be in the market for Frank Nouble)
- Nando's (Fine dining establishment)
- Neil Ruddock (Last seen in 2014 and reportedly house-bound due to current morbidly obese state)
- Dave Berry (CAFC community trust ambassador and 14% Portuguese according to Wikipedia)
- Justin Bieber (Canadian street performer)

There are also a host of ex-blues players in the list from Spencer Prior to Jamar Loza which seem to make a little more sense than the bizarre assortment above. Perhaps it's time for Ron to have a Twitter colonic?

The other account that Ron was interested in was the Southend Walkers Association .............. but it just rambled on ........

There's a few Southend links there. Mark Wright is an ex-Southend player. Neil Ruddock is an ex-Southend pitchside announcer.

Theo Pathetis used to run Millwall and therefore knows everything about this Club and who we're trying to sign.

Bieber has been established as a Southend fan.

Jamie Oliver has his restaurant on the pier.

Rachel Riley is a Southend girl of course.

Ron used to like the local circus twitter feed ............. until he realised it was run by a bunch of clowns ............

Most have quite obvious reasons:
Wright has played in charity matches at Roots Hall and been involved in celebrity teams at Meet the Blues day.
Oliver is local.
Riley is local and famous and was at Sky Sports.
Revolution took some vodka to the club office, assume that was part of the deal.
Ginsters sponsor the EFL.
Paphitis is friends with Kyprianou family I believe, and again high profile.
Nandos have sponsored the club before.
Bieber from the Leonard connection when he held an SUFC shirt.

Not really the end of the world...

One of the corporate guests tried to get Ron to sign up to the Southend Anglers twitter feed ............. but they were just fishing ............
