Not sure how much truth there is in this, but apparently the farmers have advocated for a change in the amount of promotion places for Divison 3 sides. They want to bring it in line with the rest of the football league.
i.e.
* Division 2 - Three teams to be relegated (instead of the current four)
* Division 3 - Three teams to be promoted (instead of the current four)
As I said this only a rumour, found Here but when is there a bad time to have a pop at Col Ewe!
It seems then they are quaking in their wellies at the realistic prospect of the superior team in Essex replacing their pile of t*rd in Divsion 2 next year! (Or is it now Divison 1)
P.s. Apologies if this has been covered before, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't!
