Possibly spelt wrong, but did anyone watch River Plate v. Almeiras semi-final yesterday?
Catch it on iPlayer (BBC) - great match!

Oh - plainly, nobody did! Anyway it's the final tomorrow (Jan 30) on BBC iPlayer.

Will certainly watch if it's on Spanish tv (it used to be),Thanks for the heads up.Saw a very entertaining CL match in Buenos Aires a few years back on a vist to our younger daughter in Buenos aires .Between San Ignacio (the Pope's team ,apparently) and Gremio of Brazil.Believe SI went on to win the tournament that year.

Sorry..still trying to get over the Man.Utd V Estudiantes game 1968.
it is still sad how the Brits/English still play the World club comp down. They said on the radio(UK) the other day nobody cares about it in Europe!!
Disagree,Bayern/Germans will go all out for it

I doubt it - it's for South American clubs!

Ozzie clearly means The World Club Championship..As I said the CL has always been popular on Spanish TV (for obvious reasons). The standard of football (in terms of skill) is usually very high indeed. Also, the WCC if Bar$a or RM are playing in it, is a popular watch here too.
