Corr out to prove he's no flash in the pan

Whats interesting is that I seem to recall he was one that had still to sign a new contract? Notice rumours of offers from other clubs incl. Shrewsbury for a fee- that would indicate under contract and he signed originally for 2 years not 1?

Watch out Lg2, Big Bad Barry's coming back for more...

ps. Yes Barry originally signed a 2 year contract.

I ran in the Barry on the train home from work Monday, what an absolute gent! The only down side is that he was a bit worry about miss the start of the season as he is struggling a knee injury.

I'm not surprised he has a knee injury if you ran into him with a train !!!

I bet Barna put you up to it, didn't he :tease:

Oh joy! And there was me thinking he would have been wrapped in cotton wool during the break and come back all guns blazing.

Corr and Gilbert were the first 2 players Sturrock brought in to Roots Hall on free transfers on a 2 year contract.

Less pressure on Bazza with Harris arriving, should ease the goal burden. Hopefully another striker will arrive so Bazza can perhaps pick and choose his games more as he clearly has persistent problems with his knee and back.

Oh well, makes a change from his back, which has given him grief throughout his career?. As he has'nt played a competitive game for nigh on 2 months, did he say what the problem was with his knee?.

No he didn’t say. But was on he’s way back from seeing a specials on Monday, Apparently he that been given stretching and strengthening exercises to do.
