Currently watching the Glamorgan vs Essex game on sky, and I must of picked up the fattest pro currently on the county circuit.

Step forward or perhaps roll forward - Mark Cosgrove, Glamorgan's T20 Overseas player.

Dropped apparently by his state side back in 2005 for being overweight.

What other tubbys do we have currently on the circuit?

I shall chair the selection and have come up with the following side, which of course will be changed if suitable players become available for selection.

1. Mark Cosgrove (GLA)
2. Phil Mustard (DUR)
3. Rob Key (KEN)
4. Matt Walker (ESS)
5. David Sales (NOR)
6. Ian Blackwell (DUR)
7. Samit Patel (NOT)
8. Andrew Hall (NOR)
9. Graham Naiper (ESS)
10. Robert Croft (GLA)
11. Kabir Ali (HAM)

Subs

Need a couple of fat bowlers to get an XI started.

Blimey Stats I don't think Napier is fat, he's a solid citizen. If you want to go back a few years Ian Austin & Neil Smith both of whom played in World Cups for England.

This use to be so much easier before Andy Moles, Mark Ealham and Ian Austin called it a day.

Kabir Ali now at Hants is probably worth a shout as opening bowler.

Sorry Harry, when I saw Naiper on the box the other day he looked like he was packing a few pounds.

Not to the level of a Cosgrove, but still worthy of a place in the side.

Good for the heads up on Kabir Ali, he's obviously been having too much curry during the lunch/tea intervals.

Thats an XI down, sudject to change.

1. Mark Cosgrove (GLA) BAT RM
2. Phil Mustard (DUR) BAT WK
3. Rob Key (KEN) BAT
4. Matt Walker (ESS) BAT
5. David Sales (NOR) BAT
6. Ian Blackwell (DUR) BAT SLA
7. Samit Patel (NOT) BAT SLA
8. Andrew Hall (NOR) BAT RMF
9. Graham Naiper (ESS) BAT RFM
10. Robert Croft (GLA) BAT OS
11. Kabir Ali (HAM) BAT RMF

A pretty decent line up, on paper bat all the way down with quite a few useful all rounders.
Not much pace in the seam dept so could really do with a decent porky seamer, will then able us to drop Jumble to drinks duties.

That would actually be one of the quicker attacks on the county circuit.

David Sales is a fine addition to the side.

Someone should sign Dwayne Leverock
