Custard Splat Podcast

Back for a new season and we're back with a new series

Won't go into too many details here about the hiatus we've had, you'll have to listen and find out. We are planning on dropping an episode once a month to keep it manageable.

We will try to keep the episode length to in and around the 45-minute mark (sometimes there might be a bit of injury time). If we are fortunate enough to have a guest with us then the episode will be longer.

FAQS... I don't know why the iTunes podcast artwork isn't updating. Spotify is showing the new artwork and so is our host, SoundCloud. It's all on the same RSS feed so should all be the same artwork but if you're listening on Apple Podcasts we can just pretend Stephen Humphrys still plays for us.

A good listen but I did chuckle when he said it could be a different reception if Tilly came in instead of Phil Brown!!

Christ, Tilly has been out of the professional game for 10 years, listening to different ex player interviews during lockdown, they all said what a guy but his methods were old fashioned and the game passed him by, that was 10+ years ago!!

Maybe a #2 or coach but there should be zero consideration for the managers roll

Due to the circumstances, we're lucky to have Phil back and Im delighted he signed.

We're continuing to do a bit of promo work for the upcoming Game for Barks at the end of this month (28th) and on Friday we sat down with three of Chris' friends in Rhys, Craig and Mark to discuss all things Barks and the ongoing battle to end the stigma around mental health, particularly in men

Well worth a listen. Difficult subject well dealt with and mixed in with some lighter memories. A good tribute to a good player and it would seem man.

Hopefully there will be a good crowd for this and a good sum raised.

What an inspired choice of guest.

A real insight into the club, the managers, life under Covid, some of the characters in the dressing room, life as a footballer from a impressive young man.

This might be your best episode yet. Well done.

Excellent episode chaps.

Really interesting perspective of our club and the last few horrific years from an inside voice.
