I woke up with a mild hangover so purchased a can of Monster Ripper to accompany my cooked breakfast from the company canteen.I

I spilled a bit when I opened the can and decided to cleat it up when I had finished eating. When I wiped it up five minutes later I noticed the spill had dissolved the surface of the desk and changed its colour. As a consequence I shall be choosing another brand of energy drink from now on.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

A couple of years ago I went to a Warehouse Project night in Manchester (a dance music series that is run across a few months). I'd badly sprained my ankle the day before but soldiered on, and necked a couple of co-codamols on an empty stomach and guzzled a Relentless. I then proceeded to find myself lying on the floor in the club, doubled up with severe stomach cramps and projectile vomiting fluorescent liquid across the floor. Some pilled-up clubber asked me if I was selling! My mates took me home and I literally thought I was dying. Crazy stuff.

Never touched Relentless since, and never take co-codamol on an empty stomach!

And I thought River Phoenix was a lightweight.....

Not necessarily a drink, but Mrs MK split some Gaviscon on a coffee table and it burnt through it like "Alien" blood. That ended up in the local tip.
