I've seen the guy on TV being interviewed a few times now, and read a few nuggets about him too over the years. And each time I subsequently digest his words, I grow more and more certain that he's one of the shrewdest and funny Brits working in Hollywood today.

Did anyone see him on the South Bank Show last night? Or on the DVD extras of Casino Royale?

Whereas almost every other actor these days reels off the clichés of "Can't say much about the film", "Bond's a dream role", "I love all the products placed so subtly in it", Craig on the other hand is openly honest, forthright and down to earth about his future in the films, Bond in general and his career path.

Hell, if I had a celebrity dinner party, he'd make the grade I reckon...
